Cabinet Painting in Bryn Mawr-Skyway for worn doors and handles

Cabinet painting suits owners who want to update existing doors, drawer fronts, or cabinet faces without changing the whole room. The job may include surface cleaning, repairs, sanding, primer, finish coats, and protection for nearby counters and floors.

The main decision is whether the cabinet parts can support a painted finish. Chips around handles may point to poor adhesion, surface grease, hardware friction, excess coating, or paint that has not cured. We inspect those areas before setting the work scope.

This page focuses on cabinet surfaces and the damage patterns found around moving parts. A free consultation gives homeowners and businesses a chance to discuss the desired look, cabinet condition, repairs, refacing, and the project agreement before work begins.

  • Check doors, drawer fronts, edges, and handle areas for chips or peeling.
  • Identify grease, loose coating, dents, cracks, and hardware contact points.
  • Confirm whether painting or refacing best fits the cabinet condition.
  • Include repairs, protection, cleanup, and final inspection in the project discussion.

What you get from our cabinet painting approach

A cabinet condition review

Cabinet condition determines whether painting is a good fit. We inspect doors, drawer fronts, edges, and handle areas before the work scope is set. If the cabinet structure needs broader replacement, painting alone is the wrong job.

A clear project agreement

The project agreement records the planned scope, repairs, surface work, protection, and painting tasks. You can discuss the cabinet layout and desired finish during the free consultation.

PDCA-based workmanship

Our painting process follows PDCA standards for the work. We keep customers informed and review the completed cabinet work with the lead paint crew member.

Painting or refacing for existing cabinets

The cabinet condition and desired change help determine which service fits the project.

365 Painting Solutions did an excellent job on painting the entire interior of our house. The whole crew is so helpful and the process was so easy. We can't say enough about how thrilled we are with the end result. Jeff and Lorena did a great job helping us pick the perfect color! Efrain and the crew were a pleasure to have in the house and the careful workmanship was amazing.

These guys did an awesome job! They have a well trained team that works closely together to get the job done on time and on budget. They also did a number of other repairs on the interior and exterior ( removed dry rot, repair drywall, etc.) before they could even start the painting. I would highly recommend them!

We had been putting off painting our house because there is never a great time to do so. After we decided to do it, we got 6 bids, some where very low, with low grade products, other very high with outrageous considerations, Jeff and his team came dead in the middle with amazing notes from the first visit, careful workmanship and with top of the line quality product. Scheduling was a breeze with Lorena make it so easy for us even with a busy schedule during the summer. The best experience we've had, we basically did not notice the team was working. They arrived every day super early, left the area pristine, and delivered a great quality outcome in the entire exterior job. We are super happy with the pain, the look and all the recommendation and fixes the team did. We will definitely work with 365Painting Solutions for all of our future painting needs. Thank you for making this experience simple and painless.

Questions about cabinet painting and chipped finishes

How do you decide if cabinets should be painted or refaced?

Cabinet condition decides whether painting or refacing is the better fit. We look at the doors, drawer fronts, cabinet faces, material, damage, and desired change. Painting suits sound surfaces that need a new finish. Refacing enters the discussion when the visible cabinet parts need a broader change. We explain the available scope during the consultation.

Which cabinet parts change the quote?

Cabinet doors, drawer fronts, faces, edges, hardware areas, repairs, and protection needs change the quote. We also consider whether the project includes refacing or related carpentry. A free consultation lets us review those details in the home or business. The resulting quote follows the scope we discuss, not a generic cabinet count.

When should I request a cabinet painting assessment?

Request an assessment when chips, peeling, grease, or door contact keep returning around handles and edges. Those signs can reflect a surface or hardware issue beneath the visible damage. We inspect the affected areas and discuss the cabinet condition before painting. Early review helps separate a coating repair from a refacing or carpentry need.

Why does cabinet paint peel after a repaint?

Cabinet paint can peel when grease, loose coating, or a weak bond remains below the new finish. Excess coating and hardware friction can also damage doors and drawer fronts. We check the old finish, surface condition, edges, and contact points before setting preparation work. The project agreement then identifies the repairs and painting tasks included.

What should I prepare before the in-home consultation?

The consultation works best when you identify damaged doors, drawer fronts, handles, and the finish you want. Clear access to the cabinets helps us review the surfaces and hardware contact points. Photos can help explain concerns before the meeting, but an on-site assessment sets the project scope. We then discuss repairs, protection, painting, or refacing.
